Take Me To Paris!

OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS!! I have been waaiittinggg for the perfect time to show off this coat! Its like every time I plan to wear it the weather Gods are against me, this baby and rain is a big fat no no! If it’s not rainy it’s sunny and well a dramatic fur coat and sunshine-not the best combo either! At last, yesterday was the perfect day!! Slightly gloomy, but I can look past that! 

 This look speaks for itself really, all the colours are perfect together, the gold lining on the boots its just to die for!! I can’t get enough of both the coat and the boots- perfect birthday gift! I’m really into greens and burnt orangey/rust colours at the moment so this is no joke my ideal look right now! 

 I’m calling this my ‘I finally made it to Paris x Off duty model’ outfit - if you’re gonna do it, do it properly right?! And I’ve done just that! So here I am, OTT fur coat, gold lined boots and all, on the train to the fashion capital of the world. I figured it would be dark by the time I got there so I fitted in a “photo shoot” in London and lucky for me, I am blessed with wifi and writing from our cute lil Air BnB apartment!  A New record for fastest upload time.

 I hope you love this look as much as I do, day or night, dressy or casual, its perfect! I can’t wait to see what this weekend brings and a huuuuuugee thank you to my sisters for making this happen for me!!

The jumper is thin enough to wear under the coat and will also be perfect on its own as we move into the “warmer” months of Spring. 

Its way too cute! For an evening look, swap the backpack to a cute clutch! I can't with this backpack!!

Heelllloo Glams!!

OMG, what a crazy few days!!  If there’s one thing I know how to do, it’s dragging out my birthday for as long as possible! I think this year probably hit a new record; gifts and cards started pouring in during the first week of Feb! I feel like a little princess, I am so so grateful to have such wonderful friends and family showering me with so much love!

 I always manage to find an excuse as to why each birthday is special and this year, my golden year, was because I turned 20 on the 20^th! It only happens once guys, star birthday, diamond birthday, golden birthday, whatever you want to call it, its defo one to celebrate and I did just that!

 Instead of doing an outfit post this week I thought I’d show you guys some highlights of my celebrations as usual!

 I did wanna do an outfit post of our girls night out, but to be honest,it was all such a rush and I wasn’t able to get any pics so I will definitely recreate that over the next coming days!I'll also get photos of outfits I never got round to wearing cos I changed a few of my plans which no longer required real clothing,in other words my pjs came in handy this weekend! Not gonna lie, I love my pjs as much as I love getting dolled up, who doesn't!?  Don’t worry though; you’ll get a glimpse of some glam in some of these photos!

For some reason I failed to get enough photos this weekend, but I especially  failed getting 2 of my sisters in the photos!! Sunday lunch was a beautiful seafood dinner made by my momma! And the cake, how cute!?! Glam Chowder inspired of course ;) Thank you momma!

My main gifts were clothes, shoes and a pair of beauuuuutiful earrings I can't wait to show you all over the next few posts!

2016 Grammy Awards

Hey hey Glams!

Originally I didn't plan on doing this post on the Grammys until looking at all of this years' outfits and finding that I couldn't hold my opinions to myself any longer! There were quite a few interesting looks and some ...well...not so interesting! I've split them into 3 sections yasssss, WTF and Trend Alert!  All self explanatory! 

Here's my break down on a few of theses celebrity looks, I'd love to know your thoughts, so like, comment and share below!!

Yasssss!!

Chrissy Teigen wearing Yousef Al-Jasmi: How is it that a preggers lady takes the cake - dress wise- this year?! She looked beautiful and elegant, so so appropriate,that cape!! Yass!!

Ciara wearing Alexandre Vauthier haute couture: I have to admit this dress didn't make my jaw drop BUT she didn't just wear the dress she SLAYYYED the dress with that body!! Especially next to the competition, or should I say non existent competition, she really stood out for me. Gorgeous! 

Tori Kelly looked stunning in this Gauri & Nainika dress, definitely perfect for her figure, loved the simplicity of the hair and accessories!

WTF?! 

The next three, I really don't have much to add other than the title tbh...am I right or am I right? The only thing good about Florence's dress is that she stayed true to her boho style I guess but its just a big no from me I'm afraid :/ As for 'Queen Bey' I have to say I'm quite disappointed..

Okay so, the reason I put Taylor swift in the section is because the photo on the left is her at the 2015 Grammys in Elie Saab and on the right, at the 2016 Grammys in Atelier Versace...This look is very different but also VERY similar to last years and I'm all about repeat outfits but not at the same consecutive event! I love both these looks but I think she needed to branch out a little bit more! 

Trend Alert!

I loved all these dresses, some of them actually over lap with the 'yassss' section of this post but I wanted to clearly highlight the trend alert! Could cut-outs be making a comeback?! Stock up ladies! I'd also  stock up on glittery pieces if you wanna follow this sparkling trend!

Valentine's Day Inspiration

Happy Monday Glams!

What a week I had last week, stressful,exciting and never wrecking all at the same time!! I just try to get through it all, happy mind = happy life right!? But I'm almost through the pile of assignments so I can finally take some time for my self!

 

BTW happy February!! I absolutely love this month, of course because my birthday is in it but also because its a month full of love, especially on that special day dedicated just for love; St Valentine's Day! I am so happy I managed to get a look in before the day arrives to give you some inspiration, weather you're going on a special date, going out with your girls or even having a night in, its always fun to get into the spirit and just spread the love!! (How cringey do I sound?! But it's true!!) 

I do have a few events this month so will definitely be getting up some exciting posts!!

I was gonna go for something pink/red but I thought I'd stay true to myself and do an all black look with a pop of colour. I almost forgot about the beautiful bag (I'm in looooovvee with it!!) but managed to add in a few shots with it! Its so pretty and flirty, with the perfect  subtle valentinesyness! And the lace on this playsuit; Don't get me started!! I do believe it is sold out, however I will link something similar at the end of the post!
