Ha lLo WeEnN

Happy (almost) Halloween Glamies!

I so wish I could've prepared an amazing costume and show it off to you all but unfortunately, this year I am SOOO unprepared for Halloween! :(  On top of not making any proper plans (all I know is I'll be with my mom and sisters) I've been so ill I haven't even thought of what I could be this year.

So instead of showing you my own costume, I'm picking out my top 3 looks from YouTubers I follow, one of them is quite easy and perfect for the last minute! Who know's, maybe I'll follow their tutorials on Saturday  if I finally make up my mind!?I chose these 3 because they are centred on the face and not the outfit with make up I already (and you may already) have so it makes it that much easier to recreate, especially if you're quick to learn.

I don't have any particular favourite between the 3 because they're all so different in their own way, from technique to detail. So they aren't in any preference order!

A little side note, I have recently put in different labels on my page to help locate posts easier. I wanted an 'updates' section for quick posts/ highlights so you can find that in the 'Life and More' section. I'm playing catch up right now with uni work so I'll most likely be a little quiet for a few days but I'll try put up a couple
posts up in that section to keep you updated!

I hope you have a safe and spooky Halloween!

Carli Bybel

It would be wrong of me not to include her really! Like she says in the video, it's not super scary but if you're anything like me its perfect. I absolutely love this vampire look, its simple, sexy and halloweeny rolled into one!

This is someone I just recently started following, she is so beautiful and does some really great make up tutorials. This Glamour mummy costume is so creative, the make up is done so well yet it only takes a few simple steps! I love how she went all out and took it to the next level by having a complete costume. Definitely check this out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=af-NgxalyP8

Won't lie, I only discovered this lovely lady earlier today when I was searching for some inspo so I haven't actually had a chance to explore the rest of her page, but if it's anything like this tutorial I'm sure I'll love it! This look is so much more detailed than the other two, I love how she made her face almost look furry, it's not so clear in the pics but you can see it in the video. The hair and contacts are spot on all  you'd need to wear is an all black look and your good to go!

Princess Pia Mia

Ever watched a star grow into a star?  I can now say I have!

Well thanks to the internet and my love for the Kardashians I was introduced to Pia Mia at the age of 16...I watched her homemade YouTube videos, saw her hair color change over time from being full brunette, ombréd and to now a full on blondie who's obsessed with bandanas (an obsession I decided to adopt)! She then got signed to a modelling company and did some down played campaigns, but more recently (like 2 years ago recent), after a video of her singing her cover of 'Hold On we're going home' in front of Drake and Kanye West (at the Kardashian dinner table,as you do) everything changed, that was her moment and she sang her little heart out! An official Vevo channel,an EP and Missguided ad campaign later  Pia Mia released Do It Again with Chris Brown and Tyga.

And now, she is HUGE. Like I nearly got squashed to death by people trying to force their way to the front last night, and that was only a club appearance!

Anyway, this post isn't about giving you her entire history (even though I have) its more to celebrate her success.I'm happy to have watched her reach her goals, she's still so young so I'm sure there'll be a lot more to come!

I thought I'd show you what I wore to see her last night,an opportunity that I have long awaited! I didn't get my photo with her just a touch of her hand and a kiss blown to me which I made my night as you can imagine!  So grateful also because I was able to meet Nic Nac and get a photo(on the right)with him after much perseverance  so I'm a happy bunny!

This outfit was inspired by her, obviously...She has a very edgy street style which I tried to incorporate in my look, with her signature red lips, all that was missing was a bandana!

The ripped jeans and strappy heels! Beautiful combo!

Let me know what you think :D

I am absolutely OBSESSED with these KG heels! So much more comfier than any other heels I have and they are soon beautiful!! My Birthday present from last year, can't believe I've waited this long to debut them on GC!!

Girl's Night Out <3
A big thank you to these lovely ladies for a great night and for letting me steal their clothes, Daniella's top and Pia's Jeans! (See guys, you don't always have to search your own wardrobes to put an outfit together!);P

Back To Uni/School

Hey Glams!

So it's Sunday evening and I'm sat here thinking about my 9am start tomorrow...thats early for me! I'M gonna have to be up at about 7.45 if I wanna make it to class on time, don't want to be late on my official 'first' day of 2nd year. Last week didn't count, it was all induction.

I thought a 'back to uni' look would be fitting for this time of year, actually its a very versatile look; brunch, lunch, college or even let your hair down and have a darker lip to turn it to an evening look. I'll be honest, I mostly just wear a jumper, leggings and trainers to class because I go in for a couple of hours and (sometimes) go to the gym straight after and I just don't have the energy to get all dressed up for two hours of lectures.

However, I do see some people making for of an effort so if you're in to that, this is an ideal 'smart casual' outfit for those looking to be a bit more dressy for their day at Uni/college. You could always swap the boots for flats too! We've been having such sunny weather lately so this look may not be as autumny as I'd like for this time of year, but with this weather it'll do!

I am OBSESSED with this coat, it's perfect for the sunny but breezy days we've been having because its quite light. Definitely a great buy! You can pair it with almost anything to give your outfit a little lift.

Have a wonderful week,

xoxo Mimi.

Ps Special shoutout to Juliana my photographer for this shoot and Daniella and Pia, my 'creative directors'!😉
