🦄Unicorn Magic Juice 🦄

Hey Glams!

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I certainly did, my first full weekend back in Brighton since like October!

After a lazy start to my Saturday, I spent the afternoon roaming around the beautiful laines of Brighton with my housemates, who proved to have a lot more patience with me than I thought, as they had to deal with stopping every two minutes to take photos of me...even in stores, thank you girlies!!

Surprisingly, the weather was on our side despite it's recent mood swings(don't get me started!!). But we managed to stay dry, white converse and all.

I'm so excited to share this look with you, I have a current obsession with fur coats and unicorns (...I blame the emoji update🦄) so I was in heaven with these Christmas presents! I also thought it would be nice to show you a more laid back look and one more suited to winter. I find fur coats are sometimes hard to not look too over the top and too night time-y, and I think I managed to achieve what that balance of day time and still looking cute in this look. Hopefully I can inspire you to style yours similar...I will DEFO be showing you a night time look with this coat in the verrrryy near future!

Have a great week all!
Xoxo

I mean...how cute is this little detail?!

Literally in LOVE with these! Dodging every puddle and jumping over muddy patches was so worth it to keep these bad boys glowing! Tip: After each wear wipe them down with a baby wipe...if you can be bothered.

Thanks Oliver Bonas for the cute backdrop! ;)

Christmas Beauty Review

Happy Sunday evening you gorgeous human beings!

I'm currently on a 2 hour train ride back to Brighton after a lovely lunch with my family to celebrate Yasmin's birthday and I thought I'd share a quick beauty post with you all before the hectic week begins!  It's my first one and it's nothing special but be kind! haha

I don't know how this post escaped me! After I got all these beauties I had planned to write a post but I guess I just never got round to it! Its not too late right? We're still in Jan!

I'll take you through each product through picture's with a brief descriptions of why I love them!

*Warning * I get quite excited when I discover new make...or new anything TBH lol so words like "AHHHMMAAAZZZINGGG", "GORGEOUS" and "LOOOOVVEEE" may appear a number of times!

NARS Cosmetics foundation in 'Tahoe'.
This foundation is ahmmaazzing! It gives a dewy glow, lasts long and awakens your face. Always put a primer on before your foundation just so you have a sort of barrier between your skin and the foundation. I also use the NARS 'biscuit' concealer (forgot to get a picture of that!) I use it to highlight the face cover up unwanted blemishes. NARS is defo one of my go to brands!

*Obvs not my pic*
The Carli Bybel Palette.
OMG. I am OBSESSED with Carli and now I'm obsessed with her palette! It is gorgeous, so so pigmented; my pics probs don't do it justice you just HAVE to try it! I don't know how Pia got her hands on this thing but I am so so happy! 4 Highlighters  and 10 eyeshadows (which a couple can also be used as highlight). Don't have words for how gorge this is, you'll just have to wait and see it on me! (but if you can't wait that long then go check out her tutorials on youtube! ;) )
MAC Cosmetics 'Sunbasque' shimmer blush!
I never really use blush because I never found one I really like that didn't give you that 'IM WEARING BLUSH' look. Lol..if ya get me?! So I especially love this one, its quite sheer so you can build it up to the way you like it. I use a shimmery bronzer by sleek so this blends in nicely, well done MAC! (And Karla!).

I got super excited and opened this right up (threw away the packing too) so I didn't get a pic but thank goodness for Google! Im a bit obsessed with my nails so anything that keeps them in tact is a winner for me! It's basically superfood for your nails, the middle one is a sheer white, perfect for the base of a french nail (as you can see mine in a couple pics) and the gorgeous baby pink is just gorgeous! I'm sure you'll be seeing my nails smothered in that stuff in my fashion posts!

That's it for Christmas beauty...but its not totally over yet! I went to 'browse' in KIKO the other day after watching one of Carli's videos and bought an eyeshadow she suggested to use as a highlighter...best 'browse' decision I ever made!

Okay, so I bought more than the eyeshadow...how could I not?! The lip liners were only £1.20!!! I loooovvve January sales!!! They speak for themselves really, this eyeshadow '208'  is so similar to the Laura Gellar Gilded Honey highlighter so if you want something just as good and for more than half the price I highly suggest you try get your hands on one of these! Apparently they're always sold out but luckily I went in on delivery day! Wahoo! Going back to try find another one for my sister, yes its THAT good!

Just one swipe!

So that's it! Hope I've inspired you and fed your shopping addiction, #fiscalresponsibility! Haha Have a lovely week everyone!

PS. Special shout out to my sister Yasmin, Happy Birthday you beautiful person! You continuously inspire me with your love, handwork and dedication! I love you! Xxx

Emerald Dream

Hey Glams,

First post of 2016, so firstly Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful time!

Lets just quickly have a flashback to November '15 when Balmain did their collection with H&M, one of the pieces in their collection was a pair of green velvet trousers(see pic on right)  with a detailed print on them. H&M later did a copy which I actually
preferred and luckily for me, Santa delivered a pair under the tree!

These are so much nicer than the printed ones and so much easier to wear. This whole look is a recreation of my NYE outfit, recreated for my moms birthday dinner last Saturday at Sexy Fish.  It's mermaid-y feel actually turned out to be quite fitting for a fishy restaurant!Especially with my matching sparkly nails and the glimpse of green through the unbuttoned top.

Surprisingly, my hair and make up somewhat survived the rain (just about) so if I don't look as fresh, blame the rain!!! Also, the pictures were all pretty dark because of where we took them so when I edited them to brighten them it affected the quality a bit, apologies!!

I had originally planned to pair this look with my Balmain x HM coat but silly me didn't bring it to my uni home so I'll just have to do that as another post!

Have a great week!

xoxo

I only realised later that I didn't get a shoe pic but I found this! Shout out to Juls for the gorgeous shoes! ;)
