Summer Desires

OH SUMMER PLEASE WOULD YOU HURRY!??!

I don't know if it's me or if everyone else feels like this too, but summer just couldn't come sooner, could it? I cannot wait to be soaking in all the sunshine whilst enjoying a cookies and cream ice-cream cone bought from the local chocolate shop in Gerrards cross, absolute heaven! 

I have put together a few outfits from various stores to give you all (and myself)a little inspiration for your summer outfits this year. In other words;these are the clothes i MUST get my hands on for summer! 

There are five different outfits for you, whether you plan on going out or are just trying to keep it casual during the warm days. 

  *Useful tip:To add a little excitement to your outfits, try experimenting with various textures to get that VA VA VOOM look!* 

Goodbye to dark miserable clothes and hello to whites, color blocking and florals!

WARNING: This one's a little harsh on the wallet. A splash of color and the gold lining spice up this formal jumpsuit, add the hat during the day for a more summer look. You could even go the extra mile and do the whole massive sunglass celebrity look if you dare! ;P

Playing around with texture: textured pants and a sheer shirt or blouse usually agree with each other, paired with a simple leather bag and shoes for a sophisticated day look.

Playsuits are always fun to mix and match! Picking a floral/patterned one is bright enough but pick up the outfit with a bright bag and shoe or if you're not up for that accesorize with neutrals.

Lazy day: this is a simple yet funky daytime outfit, I just think the earrings are fun and quirky! Keep it 'hipster' by wearing the headband with your hair down(and often doing a peace sign pose haha).

A Touch of Red

Don't be fooled by the sunglasses, I just about braved the cold in this outfit. So much for spring! Pre-warning; if you plan on trying something like this, make sure:

a) It's summer.

b) If it's not summer-wear it somewhere you won't be outdoors e.g to a shopping mall. 

 c) You take my advice at your on will.

I tried to brighten up my dull black leggings and plain shirt with a vibrant red scarf with it being 'spring' and all, paired that with a leather jacket which wasn't the smartest idea I've had as it holds ZERO heat! 

However, I did get a bit warmer once I hit the various clothing stores in the Eden center, plus it's an easy outfit if you're going to be trying on things. 

Flat boots for warmth and comfort as I tackle the rails of soft, new material, smart choice Maria!

¡Arrrriibaa!

¡Hola mis amigos! Today's post is COMIDA (food)and it's my twist on the Spanish classic: Paella! I love it so much, simply because you can add almost anything to it-within reason. I won't bore you with the different ingredients I ( yes, I!)put into this dish,mainly 'cos I can't remember half of them as it was sort of made up on the spot, so  I'll just let the pictures do the talking... 

P.s if you hate fish look away NOW!

The different stages to my amazing paellaaa... and a bit of salad(And yes I do know it's randomly placed, I was having one of those moments! haha).

A little bit of Sunshine

At last a sunny day in spring! Yet it was still quite cold, hashtag confusing or what?! It always takes me a while to find the right outfit for this type of weather. A jumper 
(courtesy of le boyfriend)and leggings are always what I seem to end up going for, I think it's because you can layer it up underneath if you need to-and I definitely needed to with the icy breeze! 

A leather jacket (As it is my new favorite you'll probably be seeing a lot of it) with a crew neck jumper for warmth and fluffy wedged boots-perfect for this sunny, yet cold weather!

Spiking it up!

Leather and spikes and everything nice...

Went off to family dinner at Gaucho's,black and white is always a good match though make sure you know where you're going first. The restaurant interior design was a black and white cow pattern: No bueno! 

I paired a black leather skater skirt with a white blouse which has minimal spike detailing around the cuffs and collar. I didn't add any excess jewelry as the shirt is a statement on it's own!

'Tis The Season

A little throw back for Thursday. Hmm let's see, this was a charity Christmas dinner at the local church last December. Remember guys, sometimes less is more! 

I kept it simple with a black and maroon color scheme, this outfit was actually a bargain!(Scroll to the end to see why!!)

Straight hair pulled back into a sleek ponytail is always a safe bet when you're trying to look sophisticated! I later decided that a gold necklace was needed to complete the look!

What's In My Closet?

Before I reveal the contents of my main closest I must warn you that I am not the most organized  person going, therefore there is not much order to the way I set out my stuff! So here it is... my closet!

Here we have skirts, dresses, blazers, shirts and coats.A few of my favorite items linger in here( which I shall later reveal to you!)

Tank tops, chilling tops, jeans(you can never have too many pairs of jeans!) and leggings.

And last but not least...SHOES! Inside one of those boxes are my all time favorite. Two words: Ted Baker.
