Country Gal

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!

Thanksgiving is definitely top of my list when it comes to the hot chocolate and duvet kind of weather. It also means that the Christmas feeling is in the air! I've already started my celebrations, I made dinner for my flat last night which was such a nice way to kick of the celebrations! Currently, I'm on the train back home for the 'real deal'....pictures to follow: food, friends, family and a whoooleee lotta love! What more can I ask for?!

Anyway, I thought, seeing as I'm a country gal, living in Bucks and all, I'd show you one of my autumn 'country-gal' outfits - it also gives me a chance to show off my amazing boots really ;P I definitely, definitely recommend getting some knee high, flat leather boots for getting out and about this winter! Not only are they fashionable, but soooo comfy and cosy! I guess this farmers look also ties in with thanksgiving as we are also meant to give thanks to the harvest..right? Haha!

I've probably mentioned before about how layering up in autum is the best way to go about when planning your outfits, some days it's not quite cold enough to wear a coat so that's where the jumpers and shirts come in handy! Sadly my hair was wet and fog floated over St Giles on this day so I was FROZEN but you get the idea of my layers :)

Here's my look, and if you're celebrating Thanksgiving: Happy eating and drinking!

Firstly, I must admit, I didn't think I'd blog this look so the pictures aren't very showy-offy, but I do hope you get the idea! :)

Remember to wear darker jeans during the colder seasons, they're usually thicker and they're just more fitting in the cold season. Also, I love the pattern on this jumper, it's not exactly a christmas jumper which is good 'cos I can wear it when it's not xmas season but also it has the christmassy feel so it fits both ways really!

Local Country Deli-mom's obsessed!! :P

More Than A Month!

Who would've known that being at Uni for five weeks would feel like 5 years...in a good way of course! Putting aside all unnecessary flat drama, I have a really great course and I'm already starting to find my way into a settled friendship group- which makes it that much better/easier settling in!Brighton is such a beautiful little town with all its quirky shops and alley ways and of course the pier! Before I left home I was certain I'd be running back after 2 weeks for a cheeky visit (and laundry drop off :P) but annoyingly, my mom was right and I made it a month without heading back to Bucks.

There's something about going home that makes you not want to go back to uni, maybe its the fact that you're surrounded by your family, getting good meals and treats, but if you ask me, theres no real reason why I was dreading my return to uni..I guess home will always be home and there's nothing like it!

Instead of a fashion post, I've decided to make a few collages of my time in Brighton so far...as well as my trip to Birmingham to visit James and my lovely visit back to bucks with mi familia. AND in case you haven't seen my extremely NOT scary halloween costume, I included some pics from then too with a few friendly faces from home! The collages are roughly in order of occurrence but some are bit mixed so, don't get confused - just enjoy!

Happy bunny on moving in day with a glimpse of my tiny room, with a bit of readjustments today I've managed to make it a little less cramped. Yay space!

You can't move in without any welcoming gifts of course! I truly am grateful for the best family in the world, definitely a spoiled little princess, and now an even luckier one with two lucky charms for my bracelet!

Flat 9 minus 1

Having someone who actually knows their way around really helps, thanks for a lovely outing Daniel!

More flat 9...

And this hospital-like building is my campus, I know, its very exciting! These are some of my business buddies :D

Birmingham part one, we went for such a lovely walk down some lake, its amazing how the flowers aren't dying yet for autumn, I love that they're still in bloom!

Nothing like finding one of your own in a foreign city, ex St Mary's babe Maneeka is now a Birmingham babe! Sooo lovely seeing her <3

Sunday lunch, you can never go wrong with pancakes as a starter! Top picture sums up the end of the meal-too full for dessert!

Home sweet home and Momma's cooking, just too good!!

Okay, really should give a whole long story about why me(the 18 year old) is crying over a stuffed animal, but I wont. All I'm saying is that I've been obsessed for months..maybe even a year so to finally receive my Baby Oleg was rather overwhelming - if you know, you know...#simples

One of the best times of the year,HALLOWEENNNN!! Sadly most people went home this weekend so I didn't get to see many of them, but the streets were FILLED with people - to the point where we embarrassingly didn't go into any of the clubs and instead brought the 'party' back home. So glad James made it down to Brighton...scroll down to see the rest of our weekend and James' first time in Brighton!

Doesn't get any better than this! Wonder Woman AND Captain America, now that's definitely a treat!

James' first visit <3

Guilty! A very food oriented weekend, at least we're eating well I guess ;)

And now the hard part...Bye Bye Jamesyyy :(

So that's that...my Brighton Uni experience in 5 weeks!
