TWENTY ONE, SAY WHHAATTTT?!

Happy 20th February to you all and Happy Birthday to ME!
It feels like just yesterday I was celebrating my golden birthday and now I'm celebrating my TWENTY FIRST!! 

Spending the day working on an assignment and as usual procrastinating by finding old photos and blogging..#noragrets. But tonight I shall be out for dinner and maybe a little boogie with my Madrid Girlies!

I've been meaning to post this outfit for...well almost like 3 months now, thanks to my sister for the photos. This was in Miami obvs cos I'm not wearing a thick furry jacket lol I've also had this dress for a couple years now but the quality and style make it such a classic and timeless piece (its actually a lot more orangey and brighter than it shows up in the pictures). Definitely one of my most favoured items of clothing!

Hello darlings,

Ever feel like you just need to stop for a minute and take a sec to take everything you have going on in your life and just appreciate it all? Well, thats how I feel today! Extremely appreciative, I guess more so now that we're less than 2 days away from my birthday. Yikes!

I will no longer be a 20 year old, I'll finally be out of no mans land! But I'm also scared of getting older - 'in my twenties' sounds soo.....whats the word?!...OLD? lol 

 But I looveee my birthday as we all should know by now and I'm very happy to be seeing another one! Definitely happy with where I am in my life right now and I hope everyone feels like they can be too.

Okay, enough with the deep stuff. Here's yesterday's look from my trip on the cable cars over Casa de Campo! Apparently I was feeling a little grungy-well, as grungy as it gets for me.

 Hey Guys! So remember how I told you not to hold your breath for a Valentines post this Saturday? I was right. I wasn't able to get anything up for Vday but the internet isn't lacking in posts BUT I decided to do something else.

Here's a little insight in to my 'Barrio' which is like my lil neighbourhood in Madrid, I guess its like a mini  'follow me around blog' but nothing special just had the urge to film and edit in one day-now THATS a miracle! It was SO cold and windy so apologies for the sound.

MADRID

As much as I hate to tell you this, I'm going to have to break it to you. Just rip it off like a bandaid. Righhhhttt .....NOW......! THIS IS NOT AN OUTFIT POST! There. I said it. 

Sorry guys, if you're looking for a bit of outfit inspiration now might be a good time to turn away and maybe come back on Saturday (That's when I plan on giving you a bit of Vday inspo but given my track record of posting-or lack there of-I wouldn't hold me to that.) 

First things first; HAPPY MIMI'S BIRTHDAY MONTH!! February is THE month of months! 

And this time its even more special because I'll finally be turning twenty one, TWENNY WAANN. For the record: I plan on staying at that age for the rest of my life. TYSM.

Okay. Moving on swiftly, I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure where I'm going with this post. I just wanted to come say hi show a bit of love from Madrid.  I am absolutely loving it, my host family is great, everyone is friendly, and the food....THE FOOD. 

I'll put some pictures below of some of the things I've done so far, it hasn't been much as University life has now taken over and I am still trying to get back into that 'student lifestyle'. Definitely, not sure what I 'd do without my daily siestas cos being a student is exhausting! 

In fact I've gotta leave for class in about 5 mins so better wrap this up.
