Hey heyy my little gems, look who's being efficient and getting up her last post of 2016?! 
Politics and heartbreaking celebrity couple break ups aside,I seem to be the only one on social media that actually enjoyed 2016. Its been one of the most amazing years I've had so far and if this is what 2017 is going to look like then I'm SOOOOO ready for it!!

Merry Christmas my lovelies!!!

...Wait, its boxing day, can you still say 'Merry Christmas' on boxing day? Happy boxing day?....Ahhhh well, you get the picture I'm sure! 

I love love love this time of year, everyones always in a good mood, cheerful and smiley, before the real dark winter days hit us and everything just turns back to...those amazing grey English days I've  been longing for. Having said that, its  great to be home with my family and friends, seeing all the familiar faces around our little village!

But this isn't about that, its all about the Christmas spirit and also an excuse to show off a couple outfits from the last few days! Hope you enjoy it.

Ahhh its so good to be back in Miami, sunshine and palm trees are always a yes for me!

Before I left for VA I went to an event at my boss' house, I wore this dress which was such a steal from  H&M for only $15! Gotta love a good sale! Here's some pics from the event with some of my fun and fashionable work family.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! 
Hope you all had a wonderful time with the loved ones, food, drinks, and laughter all flowing! 

I'm sat here all cuddled up and filled to the brim with all sorts of food in my belly, probably gonna be eating turkey for breakfast,lunch, AND dinner for the next week! 

I am so incredibly thankful to have spent my day with my family in Virginia, of course I miss my family back home, who I'm also incredibly thankful for too. Its been really fun being in the 'home' country of Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for all my friends, a special shoutout to the new ones I've made this year as well as the opportunities I've had this year, travelling and getting to do things many can't. 

Despite my occasional winging, I always take a  moment in my day to recognise and appreciate the life I have and I think Thanksgiving is that reminder for everyone.

Anyway, I know its been a while since my last post but I just wanted to jump on and reflect a little bit and I guess to wish you guys a great day and weekend! 

So once again, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Surpriseee! I'm still alive! 

Soz for the silence its been a busy past couple of weeks so my posting schedule kinda went out the window. I have just a quick post for you, my halloween started quite early this year and like I said previously, I had zero preparation done. Luckilllyyy, I was saved by my work family who all brought in different costumes, wigs and hats etc so last night for a happy hour event despite the weather being completely against me, I opted to be a Hawaiian hula dancer.

Tonight I have another event, so I just might actually have a post ready for Sunday with (last minute) inspiration for anyone thats celebrating on Monday!

LADIES WHO LUNCH

Hello my loves, happy Sunday!

Its been a nice slow Sunday for me after my busy busy Saturday but I'm about to start getting my glam on for this evening's dinner at Seaspice - very excited - I really enjoyed it the last time I was there and better yet, I get to share it with my family this time! 

I'm sure there'll be a post to follow on that but for now, here's what I wore earlier in the week for a luncheon in support of Cancer Link. It was such a beautiful set up with a live auction, a fashion show and lots of little goodies! Its breast cancer awareness month over here in the US so I'd like to do my part and  share this link with you so you can be sure to read up on everything and maybe even donate to this great cause!

Happy Wednesday all!

I think its safe to say my level of preparedness for halloween is at an all time low. So far, I have no plans, no costume and yet I'm in the home of it all!! I should've been ready weeks ago but I guess I still have a little while yet.

All morning I've been looking at YT videos to inspire me and get that halloween feeling and figured I'd show you what I found. I know I'm definitely leaning to more of a glam costume rather than painting my entire face/body but I included one anyway- you never know, I might just change my mind!

For everyone that may just be going out for dinner and not doing the full on halloween thing I have something coming for you on the next post, don't you worry.

 Desi Perkins already has 2 new videos that both inspired me. The first being the melting skull which most likely will not be my costume but if I had to go all out this would be my top choice.


The Selena look I absolutely love, its glam and its somewhat easy-yes, definitely for the more halloween lazy people such as myself.

SUNDAY

Happy Sunday!!

I've written and retitled this post about thirty something times now. Just having one of those days, I guess the creative juices aren't flowing! 

Buuutttt no excuses today, I'm actually on schedule for the first -or second?- time since Glam Chowder had it's mini makeover. 

I'm in Ft Lauderdale this sunny Sunday afternoon, took a trip down here with my family after thinking we were gonna be swept away by Matthew, but we fought him off!! Haha, no really we got very lucky the hurricane didn't hit us and for that I am grateful! 

So here I am enjoying the aftermath of the supposed hurricane -PURE SUNSHINE- in my "vintage" dungaree shorts and can feel a margarita session coming on. I really cannot complain!
