Dogtooth Meets Turtle Neck (3/3)

Well hello there!

Its been a quiet few weeks, I know, but I'm here now and I have many looks stored up from my holiday which I cannot wait to share with you. We're gonna have to leave those for later because I still have one more look to show you from my photo shoot and I totally saved the best for last! At least, it was my favourite look of the shoot, would love to know which one is your favourite-if you've forgotten the others just keep scrolling down after this post! :)

There are a number of reasons why I love this look, from head to toe it's just so ideal for a lovely summer evening out. So simple, yet so elegant, AND it wasn't pricey at all!  Dogtooth has to be my all time favourite print, its so classy, especially on coats and a skirt like this one. However, if done wrong or if the print is on a completely wrong clothing item your look can go from 10 to 0 in seconds! Luckily, after months of hunting for the perfect dogtooth item I found my beautiful pull and bear body con midi skirt and it couldn't have been more flattering.

This skirt is so versatile so you'll probably see another variation of how I wear it pretty soon, I can't get enough of it! Here I tried to keep the look as elegant as possible and I thought nothing better than a high neck/turtle neck crop top would do the trick. Showing minimal midriff to give it that sexy edge and the sleeves keep it fuss free as the summer nights don't quite require a coat, but you still need that extra layer.

Lastly, the hair and make up, ahhhh I just love a gigantic bun! This took the stylist a TON of hairspray and lots of layered back combing...yeah,my hair didn't like me so much when undoing it :/ Worth it though ;) And the lipstick... you all know by now that I luuurve me some black and white with a pop of colour! This orangey/coral makes a nice change from the red.

I did warn you that I had a lot to say about this look, and this is me keeping it short! ;P Let me know what you think :) Xxx

Jewels were minimal, I borrowed this snake ring from a friend and the necklace has bits of leather intertwined -sorry I didn't get a close up so you'll have to squint haha.

You can't see my shoes, but I'd advise either a pair of black courts or black barely there heels.
