Birmingham Birthday Princess!

OMG has it already been a WHOLE YEAR since I made my last birthday post?! Time really does fly when you're having fun!

Despite being a little sad about leaving my eighteenth year, I once again had  the most special birthday. This was the first time being away from my family on my birthday, yet they some how still managed to make it such a memorable day for me and I can't thank them enough!

I spent my birthday weekend in Birmingham with a few close friends and James of course. I feel so blessed and thankful to have been there with them, showered with love and gifts and CAKE, we partied the night away...who knew old Birmingham was hip-hop n happennin' ?!

Now, you know how I love my collages, be happy I ever discovered them because you'd never be able to look at all my pics in one sitting! They sum up everything perfectly so I put together a few of my my weekend. I didn't get a chance to take pictures of my full outfit but I may just recreate it at a later date!

Thank you again to everyone who made my birthday  so amazing! AND a special shout out to my Jamesy and Maneeka, probably two of the most thoughtful, kind, and caring people on this earth! Oh, and did I mention that they're really great hosts too!?

Sending love your way!

This has to be one of the best surprises ever! Delivered straight to my uni door, a massive box filled with balloons and my fave wellies and to top it off, waking up to such and uplifting message from mommykins, my family are the best <3

She couldn't have hit the nail any harder with this one! It perfect in every way!

If you know me, then you'll understand why I'm having a break down over these meerkats from one of my uni friends :O. And then I came home to find this origami bird from my flat mate! Too cute, thanks guys!!

Another surprise from my bubba, he gets it right every time...and has really good taste ;P Miss selfridge x River Island.

Surprised by the girls with a birthday cake!! Yumm!!

Only thing here is love...and fear in his eyes ahaha

Top and bottom right pics sum up my love for these girls and how happy they make me! Laughter upon laughter, and cake! Never forget the cake!

A few scenes from Birmingham, right before getting caught in a very painful hail storm!!

After days of begging I finally got my Cosmo and a lovely dinner with my fave, such a good restaurant- If you're ever in Birmingham this is the place to be!!

Aztec Poncho

S'up Glammiess?!

Your'e probably cringing at the thought of a poncho right now(or thinking of mexican people if you're me, you know -the colourful kind matched with a massive sombrero)but this kinda of poncho is the good kind...it's sort of like a cardigan but still cosy and loose enough to be a poncho in one way or another. Could I say poncho anymore??

I've had it for a while now (stolen from one of my sisters) but it's definitely a staple piece from Autumn through to Spring in my wardrobe, in fact I'm quite late in posting something about it! It's perfect as a top layer to replace a coat, but still thin enough to wear under a coat on those chillier winter days...It's earthy and warming tones go with just about anything, especially an all black outfit if you wanna liven it up a bit.

I highly suggest getting your hands on a polo neck-so in season and SO warm! Also a trendy pair of heeled ankle boots are in order, suitable day and night of course ;) I literally can't get enough of mine!

Anywhooo, here's just a casual Saturday outfit, nice and cosy and protective from the icy Brighton air, the leather jeans definitely pick up the look to make it less boring and more dressy for one of those running errands, having lunch and a bit of shopping kind of days... Plus it's all about that side zip detail ;)

Sorry bout the lighting, I am currently trying to work out some better quality photos but no promises as of yet! Photo Credit to Vienna though!

Jewellery was just a low hanging necklace: Neat yet effortless!

The quality of these pics don't do the boots much justice, however you can just about make out the snake skin pattern on there, love love love!

Love is in the air...

It's almost Valentines day Glams!!

Valentines day seems to be growing bigger each year and I feel like there’s more pressure to go out on dates and spend so much money on flowers and gifts, when really, if you strip back all the commercial stuff it’s just a day to show your appreciation towards the one you love and to me that just means spending time with each other. That's just what I think anyway...

Howeverrrr, when it comes to fashion I think its a time for  you to go all out and join in with the theme! Whether you have date night with your partner or a night with your girls, on Valentines day its always okay to pull out the big guns! So, I’ve been looking around on a few of my go-to sites and have put together a few looks that I think would be suitable for this special day. From full on themed outfits to more subtle pieces, the websites are filled with dozens of items for everyone’s unique styles so definitely check them out! Or go through your closet and dust of something cute ;).

Here’s to the day that celebrates love and appreciation of one another!

Nasty gals do it better...This is a cute way to stay cosy and spread the love as a day outfit from nastygal.com.

This fun, feminine and flirty look is from miss selfridge is a little more subtle when it comes to the Valentine's theme!

I loovah this dress and jumpsuit! Gold detailed accessories are the perfect match with both of these, as for jewellery-You barely need any! Courtesy of Boohoo . com <3

If you're really trying to go full on this valentines I think this is the number one look from ASOS, its clean, romantic, and a bit of a tease so will definitely be suitable for the occasion! A red lip is absolutely in order!

Now this is my favourite look of the selection, it definitely doesn't scream valentines day so it's probably more suitable for those that aren't into the whole theme thing...I'd wear this on any other date night, that bag!! Missguided takes the cake with this look!

Happy Valentines Day! <3
