Make Mine a Midi

Midi Magic!

I don't think you can get anymore sophistication from a midi dress (or skirt) with a pair of courts. LOOVE! This look is more or less everywhere right now and I can confirm that it is my idea of pure class with a sexy edge!

The spikes on this dress takes away from the straight grey and makes it less boring and flat. I chose to go for a slicked back bun to add to the 'sophistication' and I did have smokey eyes and nude lips-inspired by Kim K of course- but the iPhone camera only stretches so much as far as quality is concerned. So just imagine it! Hahah. I would also say you could go for red lips (or maroon) if you want more of a gothy look and more of a statement, but for this occasion I wanted something subtle.

I've had this dress for a while now but there are so many out there, get shopping!

Being the same shoe size as your mom has it's benefits!

Thinking Outside the Jewellery Box!

WOW
At last, a quiet moment to blog. All those doing A Levels/IB will totally get how I feel! Stress, stress and MORE stress!

BUT, not to worry, it's the last stretch now  AND we're in February-the best month everrr so, I'm happy!! :D

This post idea actually came to me in summer and I just never got round to doing it, its short and sweet and I hope you feel inspired. So much of my jewellery sits there gathering dust, so I could get rid of it or make good use and recycle like I have done here...Think of it as a mini jewellery make over!

Experiment ladies!

Using Necklaces as head bands: This was inspired by Khloe Kardashian (see below) use hair pins to secure it and make sure its clean and simple. Tip- be sure to work it and be confident when/if you use it. And also you might want to wait till summer to do this one.

I haven't had a chance to do this one myself but I think it would be fun and look good. This picture is from the internet  and I'm not so sure I agree with their chosen studs, but who am I to judge ey?!Ok, so this one is pretty much straight forward, spice up shirt collars with different earrings studs to create a cool effect. Wear under a jumper so the collar is the centre of attention.

This is a simplified version of the last, again not my picture. They have used a chiffon type of shirt here , if you do that be very careful not to loosen the threads. I like the simplicity of this, its a subtle statement so no jumper necessary!
